Chris Lehner is a first-generation Canadian, born to parents who escaped war and revolution. Growing up in Quebec, Ontario, and British Columbia, he quickly developed a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for democracy and the right to vote.
Self-taught in IT, automotive mechanics, electrical repairs, HVAC, home repair, and vocalism, Chris is also fluent in five languages and has over a decade of experience in the insurance industry.
A lifelong voter in provincial and federal elections, Chris became increasingly concerned with the polarization of government policies, especially in the early years of the pandemic. Realizing that voting alone was not enough, he felt compelled to take action, inspired by the words of Canadian artist Shad: “Getting mad ain’t the same thing as getting involved.”
Today, Chris actively contributes to his community by helping children across BC through his IT expertise, ensuring that technology serves as a tool for education and empowerment.
