Currently serving as Postmaster in Bear Lake, British Columbia, David works under Canada Post. He has been married to his beloved wife Sandra for 45 years, and together, they had four children, one of whom sadly passed away at a young age. Their other three children, Lindsay, Charlene, and Vincent, have grown into strong and intelligent adults. David is also a grandfather to four grandchildren.
Born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, David pursued Business Management at Langara College, initially setting his sights on a career in sales. As his skills developed, he transitioned into branch management for a major insurance company in Regina, Saskatchewan. However, seeking greater freedom, he moved into the IT industry, where he worked for over a decade while completing several training programs. He remained in the field until 2020, when lockdowns and government mandates disrupted the workforce.
David enjoys gardening, construction, and traditional living, with a deep respect for nature. In the 1990s, he joined the Canadian Forces Reserves, rising to the rank of Captain over six years before concluding his service. His expertise spans construction, demolition, and project management, having launched multiple initiatives over the years. His most enduring passion, both professionally and personally, has been computing, an interest that began in the mid-1970s and has remained with him ever since.
