In 2019, after observing significant shifts in Canada's social and economic landscape, Stephen, driven by a sense of concern for the future of the country and as a devoted father, felt compelled to take action. Motivated by his desire to make a positive impact, he resonated with the platform of the People's Party of Canada (PPC), which he felt aligned with his values. In 2021, he proudly accepted the nomination to run as the PPC candidate for Nanaimo-Ladysmith, determined to stand for the principles that he believes will help steer Canada toward a brighter, more prosperous future.
