Jonathan Bridges is first and foremost a Christian and a passionate patriot devoted to Canada’s success and sovereignty. Born and raised in south-central Alberta, Jonathan has always been deeply connected to the values and concerns of his community. He developed a love for politics at a young age, even staying up late as a nine-year-old to watch the results of the 1995 Quebec Referendum.
A proud truck and trailer mechanic by trade, Jonathan chose a skilled career path over massive debt, embodying the resilience and practicality of Canada’s hardworking blue-collar families. His upbringing in a homeschooling household, alongside his seven siblings, instilled in him a strong work ethic, curiosity, and commitment to family.
In the 2021 federal election, Jonathan ran in the Bow River riding, earning 10% of the vote. Now, with the redrawing of electoral boundaries, he is honored to represent the Battle River–Crowfoot riding for the People's Party of Canada. His family, having lived in Canada for over five generations, embodies the enduring spirit of Canadians who built this country.
When not working or campaigning, Jonathan treasures time with his five wonderful children. He also enjoys golfing, motorcycling, and fishing—activities that connect him to Alberta’s beautiful landscapes.
Jonathan Bridges is ready to bring his dedication, integrity, and grassroots perspective to Ottawa, standing up for the principles and freedoms that matter most to Canadians.
