A committed citizen of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, Mr. Brisson is married and the father of three children. A computer scientist by trade for over twenty years, with a bachelor's degree in political science and two DECs, one of which in computer science in addition to various technical certifications, Mr. Brisson is a native of Quebec. He knows the whole of Quebec City well, which he has traveled on foot, by bike, by bus or by car in addition to having studied from elementary to university in the county of Louis-Hébert.
Involved since 1987 in municipal, provincial and federal politics, having been editor-in-chief and journalist of the local newspapers Le Vaniérois and Le Courrier de Vanier, he was a candidate for a post of municipal councilor in the municipal elections of Quebec in 2005, candidate for the provincial in 2012, candidate for mayor of Quebec City in 2017 and candidate councilor in 2018 for the Alliance Citoyenne de Quebec, of which he is one of the co-founders.
Mr. Brisson is also vice-president of the Canada-Europe Economic Chamber.
Finally, Mr. Brisson, through his IT profession and as the owner of an IT company, closely follows the evolution of the challenges of public administrations vis-à-vis the CLOUD and the various impacts of digital, news technologies and best systems methods. He is LEAN GreenBelt certified in addition to many other IT related professional certifications.
