Lori Climenhaga brings seasoned leadership and deep community roots to her candidacy. A Deep Cove resident for more than 16 years, she has had the privilege of raising her family in the community she loves. Lori is running because she believes British Columbians deserve a government that works with people, not around them. In the Legislature, she will bring a balanced, common-sense approach, a focus on affordability and economic opportunity, and a commitment to respectful dialogue and collaboration.

Lori brings more than 25 years of results-driven leadership across government, business and the community sector, with a career built on bringing people together to solve complex challenges. She began at WCG International, where she built and led strategic partnerships with more than 40 chambers of commerce, community agencies and business associations to connect employers with talent across the province.

Following, as Director of Member Relations at the BC Chamber of Commerce, Lori championed a provincial network of more than 75 local chambers, ensuring the priorities of businesses in every region were heard.

In 2020, Lori was hired as a Director with the BC government, where she led province-wide engagement with industry associations and Crown corporations. Working across multiple ministries, she ensured employer and community insights informed policy and program design. She co-chaired a national task team under the Forum of Labour Market Ministers and supported a ministerial advisory committee of business leaders advancing accessible and inclusive workplaces.

Committed to creating opportunity for those too often left behind, Lori has led special projects and initiatives that help job seekers succeed and advance diversity and inclusion in BC’s priority sectors. She is especially passionate about building a better future for young people in our province and supporting a healthy economy that creates jobs of the future.

Today Lori leads her own consulting practice, advising organizations on community engagement, workforce development, strategic partnerships and securing funding for community initiatives. A dedicated community builder, she has served on the boards of the North Vancouver Chamber and the BC Chamber Executives Society.
