Sean Flynn is the CentreBC candidate for Langford-Highlands.

A longtime Langford resident, husband and father of three, Sean understands the pressures facing families across the West Shore, from rising housing and living costs to strained infrastructure and the challenge of building a secure future in British Columbia.

Sean served for 13 years in the Royal Canadian Navy as a Naval Warfare Officer. His military career developed a practical approach to leadership grounded in service, accountability and making difficult decisions under pressure.

After leaving the Navy, Sean worked as a Senior Technical Trainer with Lockheed Martin Canada. He subsequently entered the capital-markets sector and now holds senior leadership positions with Canadian public companies, serving as Chief Executive Officer and a director of Avventura Resources Ltd. and as Chief Operating Officer and a director of Planet Green Metals Inc. He is also Head of Project Management with Mid Atlantic Capital Associates Ltd.

Through these roles, Sean has gained direct experience managing organizations, raising capital, working within complex regulatory systems and confronting the real-world challenges faced by businesses trying to operate and grow in British Columbia. 

Sean believes government must remember that it serves the public not the other way around. He is running to bring disciplined, practical leadership to the Legislature and to advocate for responsible public finances, a stronger economy, attainable housing and essential services that keep pace with the West Shore’s rapid growth.

He joined CentreBC because he believes British Columbians deserve a pragmatic alternative: economically responsible, socially inclusive and focused on delivering results rather than deepening political divisions.
