Lifelong Abbotsford local running for School Trustee. Raised in our public schools, coaching youth, & working in civic service. Focused on practical student skills, opening school spaces to community groups, & building real partnerships with City Council. Let’s work together!

This city was built by people who showed up, worked hard, looked after their families, and put in the effort to build something better.

That principle has guided my life in Abbotsford from day one. I grew up in our public school system, from my early days at John Maclure Elementary to Colleen and Gordie Howe Middle School, all the way to graduating from W.J. Mouat Secondary. I stay closely connected to modern educational pathways and the real world experiences of today’s students and families.

I bring a practical, hands on background to serving our community. My experience includes working directly with local residents, alongside work in real estate, the electrical trade, and local business management. I know how to listen, manage budgets, and deliver real results. I want to put those skills to work for the next generation.

My biggest passion will always be serving our youth. Whether coaching local basketball teams or coordinating volunteer programs, I’ve seen firsthand how much potential our young people have when given the right opportunities and support.

Abbotsford raised me, and I’m running for School Trustee to give every student the same strong foundation to succeed. I'll bring practical leadership focused on career and life skills pathways, open access to school facilities, and direct partnerships with City Council.

Abbotsford is the city that raised me, and our public schools gave me the foundation for everything I’ve achieved. Now, I want to ensure every student in our city gets that exact same opportunity to learn, grow, and build a successful future.

Our schools are the heart of this community. Leadership on the Board of Education shouldn't be about sitting back or making top down decisions, it should be about listening to parents, backing our teachers, and bringing common-sense, practical solutions to the table.

If elected as School Trustee, I will focus on three core objectives for Abbotsford families:

  1. Student Success Beyond the Classroom: Expanding access to athletics, extracurriculars, and mental health support while ensuring every graduate leaves with practical life skills and clear pathways to university, the skilled trades, or direct careers.
  2. Maximizing Access to School Spaces: Streamlining rental policies so local youth sports leagues, neighborhood groups, and community organizations can easily use our gyms, fields, and facilities outside class hours.
  3. Building Stronger Local Partnerships: Working directly with City Council to solve traffic drop off congestion, improve school zone safety, and plan for local recreational needs.

Every decision made on the Board should start with one simple question: "How does this help our students thrive?" I’m running to build strong, collaborative bridges between parents, schools, and our city so every young person in Abbotsford gets the foundation they deserve. I’d be honored to earn your vote on Election Day.
