Susan Brice is a fourth generation Victorian, mother and grandmother. After attending UVic she taught elementary school. And after having children, was elected as a school trustee and Board Chair. She then served as Councilor and Mayor in the District of Oak Bay.

Then she spent time as a Talk Show Host on CFAX radio, and then as Executive Director of the Better Business Bureau.

In 2001 she was elected as MLA for Saanich South, and served Saanich residents, and was appointed to Cabinet. The Provincial seat gave her an opportunity play a role in developing public policy including economic, environment and social issues.

From 2005 until present, Susan has served on Saanich Council and CRD. She has chaired the Finance & Governance Committee and served as Chair of the Victoria Regional Transit Commission. Currently she is Vice Chair of the Victoria Regional Harbour Authority.
