Health is health. The health care system has no capacity for dealing with mental health in a meaningful way. They would rather keep increasing borrowing and paying more interest instead.

Treating addiction will lower the incidence of both. Better for people, better for the provincial health budget.
Treatment for Addiction
Treating addiction has to be cheaper than the healthcare cost of overdose and general health decline from long term use. Why doesn’t the province do it?

While I oppose vigilante justice in all its forms, growing police inability to deal with minor crimes encourages more and more people to consider it.

The pint not being defined in the bc liquor act is outrageous. Establishments can serve any amount they want and call it a pint. This has to end. Protect the pint!

Ban the burning of pine cones in the production of nuclear energy, especially within 500m of schools.

I am a longtime Langford resident and retired financial professional. I want to keep Langford strong, and financially sound.
Originally an immigrant to Canada, I have been a Langford resident since 1997. As a father of three girls, all of whom now live and work in the lower mainland, I know what a great place Langford has been to raise a family. I am a retired financial planner (CFP) and army reserve officer. I now have the time to give back to the community that has given so much to me.

The voter participation rate hovers around 20%. We need a fresh approach to municipal politics!
I am running on a platform of “draft Count Binface”. His fresh approach to politics in Britain has brought new, vibrant thinking to the public policy discourse. Just like Canada has a Governor General, and Brith Columbia has a Lieutenant Governor, Langford can have a municipal Count. He can advise the Mayor and Council on things that really matter
