I’m Kasia Thesen, a West Kelowna parent, former classroom teacher, small business owner, and community volunteer with PAC leadership experience. I bring practical judgment and a commitment to helping every student learn, belong, and thrive.

With two children in public schools and experience in PAC leadership and district parent representation, I bring an understanding of classroom realities, family concerns, and the responsibility of working with limited resources.

I would bring curiosity, practical judgment, and a willingness to listen across perspectives, keeping students’ learning and well-being at the centre of decisions.

I’m running so every student has the opportunity to learn, belong, and thrive. I’ll bring a parent’s perspective, classroom experience, and practical judgment to Board decisions—supporting strong classrooms, meaningful connections, and responsible use of resources.

Strong public schools depend on supported classrooms, meaningful connections with families and communities, and thoughtful use of resources. As West Kelowna grows, I’m paying attention to school transitions, access to programs, and transportation pressures affecting families.

My approach is to listen, learn, consider the evidence, and work with the Board to make thoughtful decisions. My priorities are Learning & Opportunity, People & Connection, and Responsible Stewardship.
