I am a Red Seal tradeswoman, project manager, mother, and founder of Love Without Borders. My living experience shaped my belief that people need more than hope: they need practical opportunities, dignity, and a place to belong.

I’m Ghazaleh Nozamani, a former engineer, Red Seal tradeswoman, project manager, mother, and founder of Love Without Borders. I know what it means to build a life as well as a project. After surviving imprisonment in the Islamic Republic of Iran and after years as a refugee in Europe, I came to Canada with my PR and found my way into the skilled trades.

My experiences also led me to continue advocating for human rights and the dignity of people across borders. Studying and living in different countries taught me to listen across cultures, faiths, and languages. Those lessons matter here in Chilliwack, where everyone deserves to feel heard and included.

On a construction site, the plan rarely survives the day unchanged. I think critically, adapt under pressure, bring people together, and keep an eye on the budget. That experience shapes how I see Chilliwack: a growing city needs strong foundations, careful planning, and the flexibility to solve problems as they arise. Through Love Without Borders, I work to connect people with housing, skills, employment, and a sense of belonging. I’m running for council to bring both practical building experience and lived experience to the table. I want Chilliwack to be a place where more people have the opportunity to move from surviving to thriving but also feel safe.
