He is a REALTOR® with over 20 years of service to the community. As the past Chair of the BC Real Estate Association and past President of the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board he has hands-on experience in governing provincial organizations, overseeing multi-million-dollar budgets, and bringing people with different interests to agreement.
Chris’s involvement in the community runs beyond his career. He has worked with children with disabilities and is a certified Marriage Commissioner. His professional experience has given him a strong understanding of housing, development, and the pressures facing White Rock homeowners and local businesses. If elected, he will park his real estate license on day one and serve as a full-time Mayor.
As Mayor, his priorities are protecting the character of established neighbourhoods, revitalizing the waterfront, improving public safety and everyday services, supporting local businesses, and delivering responsible financial management. Chris is committed to a 0% tax increase in his first year as Mayor.
Chris’s vision is straightforward, a cleaner, safer White Rock that protects its character and community we value, while ensuring residents have a city government they can trust to manage their money responsibly and listen to their concerns. Chris believes White Rock is more than a place to live, it is a community worth fighting for, and its best days are still ahead.
