Jash Bains is a proud Mission resident, healthcare professional, elected School Trustee, community leader, and mother of three. Her journey in public service has been rooted in listening to people, bringing communities together, and turning concerns into action.

As a Mission Public Schools Trustee and Founder and President of the PMWS, Jash has worked to create opportunities for families, women, youth, seniors, and diverse communities. Her experience in healthcare and community leadership has strengthened her commitment to compassion, accountability, and practical solutions that make a difference in people’s everyday lives.

Jash is running for Mission City Council because she believes our city deserves leadership that listens, communicates openly, and works collaboratively. She is committed to building safer neighbourhoods, supporting families and local businesses, planning responsibly for Mission’s growth, and ensuring residents have a meaningful voice in decisions that affect their community.

Jash believes that strong communities are built when people feel safe, heard, respected, and included. She will bring her experience, energy, and community-first approach to City Council, with a focus on responsible leadership and getting things done.

She has also served through local community organizations and advocacy initiatives, consistently building partnerships across cultures and generations. Jash understands the importance of balancing growth with the needs of established neighbourhoods and making sure Mission remains a welcoming place to live, work, raise a family, and build a future. Her approach is straightforward: listen carefully, lead responsibly, and follow through on commitments to residents with honesty, respect, and integrity.
