Kevin Eastwood is a dedicated advocate for sustainability, currently seeking election as the Green Party candidate for Boundary-Similkameen. With a background in agriculture and paramedicine, Kevin understands the vital importance of addressing environmental and societal challenges head-on. As a professional Agrologist, he brings a wealth of experience from both the public and private sectors, particularly in sustainable agriculture and resource management. His work as an Invasive Species Technician and Range Agrologist in Kamloops has deepened his commitment to environmental stewardship.
Kevin’s pragmatic approach is rooted in his belief that while some loss is inevitable, we have the power to mitigate harm and foster strong, resilient communities. He is passionate about reducing environmental impacts, supporting local relationships, and ensuring people can live fulfilling lives, even in difficult times. A strong believer in cross-party collaboration, Kevin aims to bring rational, evidence-based decision-making to the legislature, focusing on solutions that work for all British Columbians.
Kevin’s international experience in countries like France, Peru, Morocco, and Japan has shaped his understanding of diverse governmental systems, offering him a unique perspective on policy development.
