Baltej's commitment extends to youth mentorship, where he has provided guidance both as a counselor and through youth camps. His extensive contributions to community service have earned him numerous accolades, including The Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee Award (2003), The Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal (2012), and honorary doctorates from Kwantlen Polytechnic University and McMaster University.
