A tech sector trailblazer, Brenda Bailey understands the challenges small businesses face and the support that’s needed to build an economic recovery that works for everyone.

Brenda is a collaborative leader who listens and then delivers. In 2011, she started Canada’s first woman-owned and operated video game studio in response to the lack of high-quality games being developed for women and girls.

A Vancouver-South Granville resident for a decade, Brenda chose to open her first business in Yaletown in 2004 and knows firsthand that years of Liberal tax breaks and special deals for the rich and powerful hurt BC small business owners.

As part of David Eby's team, Brenda will work to ensure investments are made in skills training, tax relief for small businesses, and better wages that help create good jobs and support working people.

As a working mother of three Brenda is a fierce advocate for affordable child care and is ready to work with David Eby to build on the fastest creation of child care spaces in BC’s history, by providing more spaces at $10 a day.
