• COVID-19; End the provincial state-of-emergency and continue to carefully protect the elderly and vulnerable. Current crisis management is disproportionate to the harms of the virus and causes more damage than it helps cure.
• Free Speech; Foster an environment and culture within all government institutions respectful of diverse viewpoints and free expression. Identify and eliminate any recruitment or hiring policies within government based on race, gender, or sexuality, “Critical Race Theory”, and so forth.
• Reforming Social Assistance; Government should support British Columbians in genuine hardship who cannot otherwise support themselves. However, at its worst social assistance can become a trap for many and creates circumstances that leave clients with no dignity.
• Government Accountability; move toward outcome-based funding formulas which allocate more tax dollars toward programs that deliver on their intended results.
• Education; Shift authority down to regional school boards where possible, empower parent choice in education, and have funding follow the student.
• Ending ICBC; Allow competition and innovation in all types of auto insurance, wind-down the ICBC administration and executive bureaucracy, and sell the $80M head office property at Lonsdale Quay in North Vancouver.
